Position Overview: As a Business Development Executive for Digital Marketing, you will lead the business growth efforts of the company in the digital marketing sector. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to expand the company's client base, foster strong relationships, and drive revenue through innovative digital marketing solutions. This role demands a strategic thinker with extensive experience in sales, a deep understanding of digital marketing trends, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to drive results through a team.
1. Identify and Acquire New Clients:
- Research and identify potential clients within the target market.
- Actively seek out and engage prospects through various channels, including cold-calling, networking events, email campaigns, and social media.
2. Understand Client Requirements:
- Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand the specific digital marketing requirements of potential clients.
- Identify pain points and challenges faced by clients and propose suitable digital marketing solutions to address them.
3. Present and Pitch Services:
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and pitches to potential clients.
- Showcase the company's digital marketing services and capabilities effectively, highlighting unique selling points and competitive advantages.
4. Negotiate and Close Deals:
- Negotiate terms and pricing with clients while ensuring win-win outcomes.
- Work towards meeting sales targets and closing deals to achieve revenue objectives.
5. Develop Business Strategies:
- Collaborate with the marketing and management teams to develop effective business strategies and marketing plans.
- Continuously monitor market trends and competitors to identify new opportunities for business growth.
6. Build and Maintain Relationships:
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and prompt resolution of any client issues.
7. Stay Updated with Industry Trends:
- Stay abreast of the latest trends, best practices, and technologies in digital marketing.
- Leverage this knowledge to offer innovative and up-to-date solutions to clients.
8. Report and Analyze:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and deals in CRM software.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, business development activities, and market trends to the management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (a relevant Master's degree is a plus).
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management in the digital marketing industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, content marketing, email marketing, etc.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a self-driven and goal-oriented attitude.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Adaptability and willingness to learn and implement new strategies.
